This weekend's Just For Fun hacking project: Subverting Apple Podcasts to the dark side (Yes there's an even darker side :) and using their unadvertised JSON REST API to make a TUI Apple Podcasts player :)
@feoh Well I'm pretty pleased with the initial cut. The only nut that proved impossible (for now) to crack is that Apple uses FairPlay encryption for their paid content streams, so those won't work with this player. But I'm only subbed to a couple paid podcasts anyway so I can suffer with the web player for those but enjoy my home-grown TUI goodness for the rest :)
